Biography:
Painter and teacher, Jack Jones has been painting for thirty years, and studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and with the noted artist Paul Goodridge. He has received many distinguished awards for his watercolor and oil paintings. A member of the Copley Society of Boston; Academic Artists; International Society of Marine Painters; New England Watercolor Society; American Artist's Professional League and others. Jack's work was featured on the May '96 cover of The Artist's Magazine, in which he wrote a feature article. His work can be seen in the books Best of Watercolor, Best of Watercolor Shadows, and Best of Watercolor Places. He conducts outdoor workshops and on-going indoor watercolor classes. He recently won The Gold Medal of Honor at the Hudson Valley Art Association in New York City, for his watercolor painting "Lily Pond".
