Artist: Harold Kloongian

Biography:
Harold Kloongian was born in Massachusetts and received his art education at the Art Institute of Boston (on scholarship), the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and Boston University. He also studied with notable artists Emile Gruppe, John Pike, Edgar Whitney, and Frank Rines.

Throughout his career, Harold was an illustrator, art director, publications production manager, and before retirement, Director of Publications for the Avco Research Laboratory-Textron.

Harold devotes his time to painting and support of the arts. He served one term as Vice President and three terms as President of the North Shore Arts Association in Gloucester, MA. His work is representative of the New England scene, which consists of landscapes and seascapes. He is also an artist member and recipient of awards from the following organizations:
