Marine Model Gallery’s owner and director R. Michael Wall is recognized
by the foremost marine model artists, private and corporate collectors, and
international maritime museums as an experienced expert on procuring museum
quality ship models. His Gallery houses an extensive collection of one-of-a-kind
ship models built by the world’s finest internationally acclaimed professional
and emerging ship model artists, as well as a discriminating selection of
rare antique ship models, including Napoleonic Prisoners of War, Navy Board,
Builders', and Pond yacht models. Each ship model is carefully chosen to adhere
to museum quality construction standards and is documented for investment
provenance. Mr. Wall provides his clients with an ideal atmosphere to privately
view his latest collection and to consult with him personally. Gallery services
include: Collection Management, Conservation and Restoration, Appraisals,
Display Units, Lighting, and Custom Models of historic ships, contemporary
vessels, or modern yachts. The Gallery is located in historic Salem, MA and
open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am – 4pm, or by appointment.
