On the
left is a close-up with numbering to show how I began to work in the
first lace pattern. I call this the "Fin Lace". On the first
tier I worked one lace section, three stockinette sections, one lace
section, etc. On the second tier I worked three lace sections, one stockinette
section, three, etc. On the third tier I worked an all lace section.
I decided to add a fourth tier, also all lace before beginning the second
lace pattern.

This is
a close up of the center back so you can see how the lace is worked
around that back section rib. You also have the option to work the lace
in just two tiers as I explained in the second set of instructions.
